Live in Gurugram hotels

Room service still runs on phone calls and paper.

A guest picks up the handset. Someone writes the order on a pad. The pad walks to a kitchen. Nobody can say what was sold last Tuesday, or whether the dish made money. ZOG replaced that chain with software — all of it, not a slice.

Guest QR to kitchen board to rider to payment to the numbers afterwards. It runs in Gurugram hotels today.

Why ZOG exists

The gap was never the menu. It was everything after it.

Three things we kept running into, and the one conclusion they add up to.

The order was never the hard part

Ordering food inside a hotel or a restaurant looks solved from the outside. It isn't. The guest calls, someone writes it down, the paper walks to a kitchen, and every handover after that is a person remembering something.

When it works, nobody notices. When it breaks — a missed ticket at 11pm, a dish sold below what it cost to make, a night nobody can reconstruct — it breaks quietly and it breaks in the same four places every time.

A menu on a screen fixes one link

Plenty of tools digitise the first step. The guest taps instead of calls, and then the order lands in an inbox somebody has to watch, or a printer somebody has to hear, and the chain is paper again from there.

The gap is never the ordering screen. It's the handover after it: the kitchen that has to notice, the rider who has to be found, the money that has to reconcile, the numbers that have to survive the night.

So we built the whole chain

Guest scans a QR. Order lands on a kitchen board that rings, with the tab closed. A rider gets assigned. Payment settles. The night ends as numbers you can read the next morning.

One system, one set of rows, no integration seam in the middle where orders go to die. It runs in Gurugram hotels today, and it is the same software this site is describing to you.

What we built

Five handovers. One system.

Every link below used to be a person remembering something. None of them are stitched together from someone else's tools — they run on the same rows.

Guest scans

The menu opens in the browser. No app, no download, no account to make.

Kitchen board

The ticket lands and the board rings — even with the tab closed.

Rider assigned

Delivery gets a name attached to it instead of a phone call to make.

Payment settles

The money moves and reconciles against the order that earned it.

Numbers, next morning

The night survives as something you can read, not a stack of paper.

What we believe

Three things the software will not let you do.

Opinions are cheap. Each of these is a decision that shows up as behaviour in the product.

A guest should never install anything

Nobody downloads an app for one dinner in a hotel they're leaving on Thursday. Asking them to is how you lose the order to the property down the road. The menu opens in the browser off a scan, and that is the whole ask.

QR ordering, no install

A kitchen must never miss an order

An order that arrives silently is an order that arrives late, and a guest who waited is a review nobody wanted. The board rings on a new ticket even with the tab closed — noticing is the system's job, not the staff's.

Kitchen board that rings

A discount must never sell a dish below cost

Promotions are where hospitality quietly loses money: a stacked coupon on a thin-margin dish and the sale costs more than it earns. Every discount is checked against what the dish actually costs before it can apply.

Who it's for

The same chain, read from five different seats.

A guest, a kitchen, a hotel, a rider and an owner all want something different from one order. Each page below makes its own case.

Come and look

A page about us proves nothing.

Everything above is checkable. Open the live app and order something, or message us and we’ll load your real menu so you can scan the code and watch the ticket land on the board yourself.
